Merry Christmas!

We started behaving really early this year!

Mom said Santa was watching us...

We slowly snuggled together without snarking

Nobody used the Christmas Tree as a potty

We both went to sleep on Christmas Eve early...

Sunshine hugged her old toy hoping Santa would bring her a new one.

We woke up bright and early to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

We all got cookies there! and cheese, and danish, and muffins....

Mom-mom gave us MONSTER BONES

Mom usually doesn't let us have these. Something about the knots being dangerous... WE LOVE THEM! They are huge and yummy!

Santa brought us big Greenies, a bacon and cheese flavored bone, squeaky toys and new screaming monkies.

Lazy Sunday

Sunshine again! We had fun last night even though it was scary with all the people there!

Rainy even let Tina cuddle with her on Bruno's dog bed

Then Rainy let me cuddle with her (after a bunch of snarking) Jeez... not sure what her problem is!

We had 7 greyhounds and 1 fluffy yapper all in one house! It was crowded but tons of fun.

Mom made us wait until we got home to eat dinner. We were eating supper at 12:30 am! Puppy abuse! Someone please let me know what number to call to report this travesty.

Then we got up super early this morning to go run at the dog park with Gracie, Tommy, Abby, and Solly. Mr Bob brought his squeaky ball just for me to play with! Love that ball....

We had too much action this weekend

Another walk in the park!

Mom's been sick for 2 whole weeks and we haven't been walked at ALL! Puppy abuse, I tell you!

She tried to make up for it today by taking us to the park and letting us sniff all over instead of walking. Usually we go to the park for exercise and we work on our leash manners and this stupid stuff called heeling.... Sniffing is much more fun! Here are some pictures from today

Tomorrow we get to go to a meet and greet and help other greyhounds get homes and go visit other houndies for some socializing later at night.

Rainy's 2nd Gotcha Day!

I swear I'll do better next year! Was laying in bed last night thinking about how much my life has changed since my houndies came home, when I realized I totally missed Rainy's Gotcha Day!

She gets overlooked a lot and doesn't always get the attention she deserves. Guess it comes with the territory of being the perfect pup. She's always there for her little sister and even will step in front of her in some scary situations. But never lets Sunshine get away with rude behavior. Loves being Mom's laundry and trash helper. She bounces alongside me in a perfect heel. :) She even will cuddle up next to me in bed for a bit. Loves kids and charms almost everyone she meets.

In the past 2 years she has become 100% (most of the time) tolerant of other bouncy small dogs. Which is a relief since she tried to eat her foster sister at our first M&G.

We have a new life!

Sunshine here! I haven't been able to sneak internet access for a long time...

Rainy and I had a greyt time in Gettysburg this past April and *I* was a super good girl who had zero potty accidents. Right now Mommy, Rainy, the kitties, and I are single and loving life! Well at least we are single, Mommy's not too sure! :)

We moved to a new home and Rainy and I were really barky/whiny for a few weeks since we didn't really understand what was going on. We are 110% settled in now and loving our little cubby hole of a home.

We get to do all sorts of things that we weren't able to do before. Mom keeps saying that we actually have a social life now... I think that just means I have to be extra brave while she takes me to scary places!

We went to go visit some of Mom's friends, who just bought a new home. Their kitties are a bit confused right now just like we all were a bit ago...

They tried to feed me sausage but I was too nervous to eat. Rainy got to eat it all up!

We've had dinner with our friend Bruno a few times

I did an awesome job of relaxing with everyone walking around inside the house

We've been going to our Meet N Greets to try and get more houndies some good homes just like we have.

The kitties got a new litter box! No more crunchy treats for me. :( It's like using a toilet and Mom is very happy to never have to scoop litter again.

The best part is learning to relax in our new home.

We don't even mind when Mom goes to work anymore and we can even last the WHOLE workday now without a potty walk.

I've started to be a better eater too. For the first month I didn't really want to eat my food.

She is a wild beast of a pup! Look at those chompers!

We've even gone to a softball game, where little kids rushed up to pet us. I only tried to hide behind Mom for a little bit. Eventually I relaxed again and enjoyed the shade from the tree.

Sure was hot out there!

Rainy kept an eye out so I could sleep.

We even went on a trip for the 4th of July! I ate ALL my food even though we were in a strange scary place. It didn't take me long to find out where I was obviously supposed to sleep.

I tried to redecorate with a bag of sunflower seeds, but those silly humans didn't appreciate it at all! It made the bed smell nice and they just don't understand!

The big lesson that we all have learned.

If you wake up like this you might have partied too hard the night before!
